The Maverick family mission is to provide the world with the impressive old-fashioned German Shepherd. These are the German Shepherds that you don’t see everyday and look totally different than the ones that are used for Dog shows. These German Shepherds have a heavy bone structure, straight back and are intimidating by their sheer size. A standard German Shepherd male will not reach a 100 lbs. but a Maverick German Shepherd will not use a female that is less than 100 lbs. The goal is to have a healthy, family friendly, X-Large German Shepherd that is trainable to its natural protective nature or can be a couch potato, if that’s what you want.
